Maxwell von Marktsteft is a beautiful 3 year old Shepherd mix. Maxwell is the fuzziest in the pack, and a very manageable size.  A sensitive boy on the shy side, he is looking for an experienced adult home; he appreciates new humans respecting his personal space and giving him time to get comfortable; then he does well and will even lean into you. Maxwell does an amazing job on leash – he is polite in his encounters with other pups and, while he may pull a tiny bit when he gets going, he quickly settles in with minimal guidance. He does great around dogs and is an absolute boy scout in his playgroups – social and always exhibiting his manners; he is happy to explore, hang out with his pals and check in with familiar humans. (No cats please.)  Maxwell would love to meet you, especially with a hot dog in your hand!
